JANUARY KRISTINE

I am a self-taught mixed media artist based in Omaha. Through the process of layering materials, I create emotionally resonant visual landscapes that reflect my internal complex narratives.

My work translates raw emotion into tangible form — evoking vulnerability, healing, and connection.

In 2019, I was nominated for an OEAA (Omaha Entertainment and Arts Award) for my piece as part of the Nasty Arts Collective. For the past five years, I have exhibited
in many solo and group showings throughout Omaha, and am an active participant in local artists markets.

Over time, my work has evolved from introspective
expression into a more illustrative style, incorporating graphic design and digital elements. This shift has led to commissions, custom prints, and a growing line of creative products that allow me to share my work in accessible and diverse ways.
