DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us in our Lobby Gallery located directly in the main entrance of Clover24 to enjoy Thomas Halbur’s work. \nArtist reception: Thursday 2nd. 5 pm – 8 pm \nHalbur’s work will be on view throughout October and November. \nThomas Halbur is a Korean-American artist living and working in Omaha\, Nebraska. His work explores identity\, cultural heritage\, and faith by blending traditional Korean art techniques—such as Dancheong and Minhwa—with Western influences from retro cartoons and psychedelic aesthetics. As a Korean adoptee and practicing Christian\, Halbur uses his creative process as a way to reflect\, give thanks\, and grow. His pieces are hand-painted using acrylic markers on wood and are based on sketches developed digitally in Procreate. He has exhibited widely throughout Omaha and nationally\, and approaches every project with gratitude and a spirit of reflection—offering work that encourages community engagement\, cultural awareness\, and thoughtful self-inquiry. \n  \n \n
