Stephen Kavanaugh is a multidisciplinary artist based in Omaha, Nebraska, working at the intersection of abstraction and figuration. His practice explores how form, material, and perception shape emotional and spatial experiences. Each work begins as an investigation—balancing intuition with structure and merging the precision of design with painterly experimentation.

Over the past decade, Kavanaugh has exhibited in multiple solo and group shows and completed large-scale murals and installations across Omaha, including commissions for the Aksarben Village 50th Anniversary of the Omaha Summer Arts Festival and the Facebook Data Center. His work aims to foster connection, curiosity, and a renewed awareness of place.
